There was no shortage of team spirit from the sidelines in Spokane at the State Championship Tournament. Lake's, Keanu Puha earned the nickname "Flying Hawaiian" long before coming out swinging a hot bat for his team. Puha can fly around the bases with incredible speed making him one of the fan favorites.
Mama Puha happen to be visiting the Islands during championship week but still able to enjoy cheers and up-to-the-minute box scores from Spokane thanks to a handy dandy cell phone connection and George who did a fine job of delivering her rhyming verses to the field as she instructed him over the telephone line.
